Vein-hosted silver mineralization at Brixton Metals Corporation's $BBB Langis Project in Cobalt, Ontario is proving structurally continuous across the Shaft 6 South area, with two new drill holes bridging the gap between ultra-high-grade intervals previously reported in 2026 and confirming that historical mine workings remain underlain by intact, grade-rich silver zones.
"Langis continues to deliver kilogram per tonne plus silver results and meaningful grades over substantial widths," said Gary R. Thompson, Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals Corporation. "The second drill is now operating at Langis to meet our goal of 60,000 m this year as we advance toward a maiden mineral resource estimate."
Hole LM-26-341, drilled south of Shaft 6, returned 27.7 metres grading 166.45 g/t Ag from 99.3 metres depth — 4,611 gram-metres — including a 2.3-metre core interval at 1,811 g/t Ag from 107.2 metres and a 0.5-metre sub-interval at 5,580 g/t Ag from 108.5 metres. A second interval in the same hole returned 2.0 metres at 700 g/t Ag from 149.0 metres. Hole LM-26-338, also in the Shaft 6 South corridor, cut 17.5 metres of 170.8 g/t Ag from 105.5 metres, including 1.0 metre at 1,150 g/t Ag. Core photographs from LM-26-341 show visible native silver and cobaltite in carbonate and sulphide veins — consistent with the classic vein-hosted structural style of the Cobalt district, which is hosted in Archean Keewatin volcanic and metasedimentary rocks intruded by Proterozoic Nipissing diabase.
The 2026 program at Langis is the largest in the project's history at a targeted 60,000 metres. To date, 14,760.65 metres across 72 holes have been completed. The LM-26-341 and LM-26-338 results were specifically designed to test continuity between high-grade intervals reported in holes LM-26-289 and LM-26-305 (released May 11 and March 18, 2026 respectively), and the bridging of those intercepts supports a model of laterally persistent mineralization within the Shaft 6 South block. Brixton is now running two drill rigs simultaneously as it works toward a maiden Mineral Resource estimate. Read the full release here.
For the silver exploration sector, the Cobalt camp is re-establishing itself as a district capable of delivering resource-scale continuity. The Langis results — sustained over 72 holes in a single season — add geological credibility to the district's revival narrative at a time when silver is trading near $76.53.
