Value per tonne is the gross in-situ rock value at today's spot prices, before recovery, mining, processing, royalties, or metallurgy — recomputed live on every page load. The nugget is the share of that value from precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium). Residual value estimates the net realizable value after recovery and operating cost — it assumes 90% recovery for precious metals, 85% for base metals, and $40/t operating cost; model your own assumptions in the calculator.
