Altius Minerals joins S&P/TSX Composite Index

Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX: ALS; OTCQX: ATUSF) (“Altius” or the “Corporation”) announces that its common shares will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite Index, effective prior to the open of trading on Monday, June 22, 2026, as disclosed by S&P Dow Jones Indices on June 5, 2026. The S&P/TSX Composite Index is Canada’s premier equity benchmark, comprising the largest and most actively traded companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Brian Dalton, CEO, commented, “Inclusion in Canada’s premier market index, amongst a humbling list of Canada’s strongest public companies, represents an honour for the entire team at Altius.

It is certainly fair to say that this achievement was not on our list of goals when we established Altius 29 years ago as a junior capital pool company. We would like to offer a sincere thank you to our shareholders for their long-term support and encouragement while also pledging to continue to work hard to find ways to grow enduring value on your behalf. I would also like to personally express my gratitude and congratulations to current and former colleagues for your incredible efforts and camaraderie.” About Altius Altius’s strategy is to create per share growth through a diversified portfolio of royalty assets that relate to long life, high margin operations.

This strategy further provides shareholders with exposures that are well aligned with sustainability-related global growth trends including the electricity generation transition from fossil fuel to renewables, transportation electrification, reduced emissions from steelmaking and increasing agricultural yield requirements. These macro-trends each hold the potential to cause increased demand for many of Altius’s commodity exposures including copper, renewable based electricity, several key battery metals (lithium, nickel and cobalt), clean iron ore, and potash. In addition, Altius runs a successful Project Generation business that originates mineral projects for sale to developers in exchange for equity positions and royalties.

Altius has 55,741,478 common shares issued and outstanding that are listed on Canada’s Toronto Stock Exchange. It is included in each of the S&P/TSX Small Cap, the S&P/TSX Global Mining, and the S&P/TSX Canadian Dividend Aristocrats indices.
