Barrick authorizes $3.0 billion share repurchase

All amounts expressed in U.S. dollars TORONTO, May 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --  Barrick Mining Corporation (NYSE:B)(TSX:ABX) (“Barrick” or the “Company”) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to $3.0 billion of the Company’s outstanding common shares at prevailing market prices. Following solid execution and strong free cash flow, this authorization is intended to return cash to shareholders at a time when Barrick sees exceptional value in its own shares, particularly in anticipation of the planned IPO of North American Barrick. The repurchase authorization does not oblige the Company to acquire common shares.

Repurchases can be made through published markets in the United States, such as the New York Stock Exchange, using a variety of methods, including open market purchases, as well as by any other means permitted under the rules of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and other applicable legal requirements.
