Lahontan updates corporate operations
Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - July 21, 2026) - Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG) (OTCQB: LGCXF) (the " Company " or " Lahontan ") announces that its wholly owned subsidiaries, Gateway Gold Corp. (" Gateway ") and Gateway Gold (USA) Corp. (" Gateway USA "), have been served with a Statement of Claim (the " Claim ") filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice by Vox Royalty Cayman SEZC (" Vox Royalty "). The Claim alleges, among other things, that Gateway and Gateway USA breached an offtake agreement dated April 13, 2018, among Victoria Gold Corp., Stratagold Corp., Victoria Resources (US) Inc., Gateway, Gateway USA and Orion Co-VI Ltd., and seeks monetary damages and other relief. The Company believes the claim is without merit and intends to defend the action vigorously.
The allegations contained in the Claim have not been proven in court. As the matter is before the courts, the Company does not intend to comment further on the allegations at this time. The Company will respond through the court process and will provide further updates as required in accordance with applicable securities laws.
The Company does not expect the commencement of the Claim to have a material impact on its day-to-day operations or on the continued execution of its business strategy. About Lahontan Gold Corp. Mineral resources are reported using a cut-off grade of 0.15 g/t AuEq for oxide resources and 0.60 g/t AuEq for non-oxide resources. AuEq for the purpose of cut-off grade and reporting the Mineral Resources is based on the following assumptions gold price of US$1,950/oz gold, silver price of US$23.50/oz silver, and oxide gold recoveries ranging from 28% to 79%, oxide silver recoveries ranging from 8% to 30%, and non-oxide gold and silver recoveries of 71%.
