Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 6, 2026) - Getty Copper Inc. (TSXV: GTC) (OTCQX: GTCDF) (" Getty " or the " Company ") is pleased to announce that its common shares have commenced trading on the OTCQX Best Market under the symbol GTCDF. The Company's common shares will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "GTC."

Trading on the OTCQX is expected to increase Getty's visibility within the U.S. investment community, improve accessibility for U.S. investors and support the Company's broader investor relations strategy. Comprehensive market data and real-time price quotes can be found on www.otcmarkets.com .

The OTCQX listing follows an active period of exploration at the Getty Project. As part of its 2026 spring drilling campaign, the Company completed 10,807 metres across 28 holes, comprising 15 at Getty North and 13 at Getty South. Initial results from Getty North included 342 metres grading 0.50% copper from 9 metres depth, including 108 metres grading 0.70% copper, while expansion drilling extended known mineralization beyond historical drilling. Getty plans an additional 4,000 to 6,000 metres of drilling in the fall of 2026, focused on further resource expansion and testing priority exploration targets.

Ryan O'Regan, CEO of Getty Copper, commented, "Commencing trading on the OTCQX represents another important milestone for Getty as we continue to broaden our capital markets presence. This listing provides greater accessibility for U.S. investors while complementing our TSX Venture Exchange listing and ongoing efforts to expand awareness of the Company as we advance our Getty Copper Project."

Following the commencement of trading on the OTCQX, Getty is implementing several capital markets initiatives intended to expand investor awareness and support an active and orderly market for its common shares.

To increase its visibility among investors and broaden its market reach, the Company has engaged Investing News Network (" INN ") to provide digital marketing and investor awareness services for a term of eight months for total consideration of $40,000, plus applicable taxes, payable as an initial deposit of $15,000, with the remaining balance payable in two equal installments over the term of the agreement.
