Rakovina Therapeutics holds 2026 annual general meeting

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rakovina Therapeutics Inc. (TSX-V: RKV) (FSE: 7JO0), a biopharmaceutical company advancing innovative cancer therapies through AI-powered drug discovery, is pleased to announce the results of voting at its 2026 annual general meeting of shareholders held on August 18, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario (the “Meeting”).

All five members of the Company’s board of directors named as nominees in its management information circular dated July 14, 2026 (the “Circular”) were elected as directors: Kim Oishi, Frank Holler, Dr. David Kideckel, Yevgeniy Meshcherekov and Dr. Petra Hamerlik.

In addition, at the Meeting, the shareholders of the Company: (i) approved the setting of the number of directors at five; (ii) approved the re-appointment of Davidson & Company LLP as the Company’s auditor until the next annual general meeting of shareholders, at a remuneration to be fixed by the board of directors; and (iii) re-approved the Company’s existing omnibus equity incentive plan as set out in the Circular.

In connection with the Meeting, Jeffrey Bacha retired from the Company’s board of directors and did not stand for re-election. Mr. Bacha will continue to support Rakovina in an advisory capacity. Dr. Petra Hamerlik joins the board as a new director following her election at the Meeting.
