(“ Upside ” or the “ Company ”) (CSE: UG) (FSE: 47I) (OTCQB: UGODF) is pleased to provide an update on its ongoing 2026 diamond drilling program at the Kena Gold-Copper Project (“Kena” or the “Project”) in southeastern British Columbia.

The Company has now completed approximately 4,645 metres of diamond drilling, exceeding the 4,000 metres originally planned for the 2026 program. Based on the progress of the program and ongoing evaluation of drill core by the Company’s technical team, drilling will continue beyond the originally planned program. The Company is currently focusing its drilling on testing the Kena Copper-Gold Zone, extending southeast along strike from the historic resource. As previously announced on July 15, 2026, the Company’s Mines Act Permit MX-100000131 was extended to October 31, 2026, allowing for continued exploration and drilling into the fall.

Drill core from the program is being logged, sampled and submitted for analysis on an ongoing basis. The Company expects to report assay results as they are received, reviewed and interpreted.

Results from the 2026 drilling program are expected to form an important component of the Company’s broader resource evaluation strategy at Kena. Upside intends to combine the new drilling with approximately 5,000 metres of historical drilling completed subsequent to the 2021 historical mineral resource estimate and its ongoing evaluation of historical copper and silver analytical data to support the preparation of an updated NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate targeted for 2027. Drill core samples have also been submitted for a program of metallurgical testing in order to assess gold, copper and silver recoveries together from the mineralized material to support this estimate.

Additional drilling and technical work will be required to verify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource . The historical estimate uses the categories set out in section 1.2 of the NI-43-101. The parameters and assumptions used are outlined in Bird 2021 and are provided as follows:

1. Resources are reported using the 2014 CIM Definition Standards and were estimated using the 2019 CIM Best Practices Guidelines.

2. Mineral Resources that are not Mineral Reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.

3. The Mineral Resource has been confined by a “reasonable prospects of eventual economic extraction” pit using the following assumptions: US $2,000/oz. Au at a currency exchange rate of 0.77 US$ per $CDN; 99.95% payable Au; $4.30/oz Au offsite costs (refining, transport and insurance); a 3% NSR royalty; and uses a 88% metallurgical recovery for gold.

4. Pit slope angles are assumed at 45º.

5. The specific gravity of the deposit has been assigned as 2.8 based on sg measurements in the Kena deposit.
