Olive Resource Capital reports Q2 2026 statements

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - August 26, 2026) - Olive Resource Capital Inc. (TSXV: OC) ( "Olive" or the "Company" ) is pleased to announce the release of its quarterly financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026.

Highlights:

As a result of strong investment performance Olive reported Net Income of $1,496,865 or $0.01 per share for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Investment Portfolio valued at $18,853,458 (inclusive of cash) for June 30, 2026, as compared to a value of $16,473,208 (inclusive of cash) for December 31, 2025.

NAV per share for June 30, 2026 of $0.166 per share, compared to $0.145 per share on December 31, 2025.

Samuel Pelaez, the Company's President, CEO, CIO, and Director stated: "The second quarter was challenging for resource equities as market risk premium increased with the developments at the Strait of Hormuz. At Olive, we increased our cash position during the quarter, just as seasonality trends peaked. The Company posted positive returns for the quarter, outperforming the reference mining indices which posted negative returns. We remain of the view that the resource market is in a secular bull market and will take advantage of opportunities to deploy the cash into investments with tangible, transformational catalysts."

For publicly listed investments traded on recognized exchanges, valuation is based on closing trading prices. For private equity investments, valuation is per the most recent financial statements. For Convertible Debentures, valuation is per the most recent financial statements, adjusted for interest accruals and convertibility value.

Olive defines Liquid Investments as investments whose position can be liquidated in less than one day's average trading volume for that security. This measure also includes cash and cash equivalents; but does not include adjustments for working capital and liabilities. Out of the Money Warrants are valued using Black Scholes with 35% volatility, and 3% interest rate. In the Money Warrants are valued at their intrinsic value.

The increase in value from December 31, 2025 is primarily as a result of stock price appreciation of the investments.

Private Placement

Subsequent to quarter end, the Company completed a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of approximately $3,218,200 (the "Offering"). The Offering consisted of the sale of 29,256,545 common shares of the Corporation at a price of $0.11 per common share. The Offering closed on August 17, 2026.

Normal Course Issuer Bid ("NCIB")

As of the date of this release, the Company holds 4,046,000 common shares in treasury pending cancellation.

As of the date of this release Olive Resource Capital Inc. has 136,463,754 common shares outstanding.

Operational Summary

The Company's net income totaled $1,496,865 for the three months ended June 30, 2026, with basic and diluted income per share of $0.01. This compares with a net income of $928,942 with basic and diluted income per share of $0.01 for the three months ended June 30, 2025.

Estimation of Net Asset Value per Share

Net asset value per share ("NAV") is a non-IFRS financial measure. NAV is calculated as the value of total assets less the value of total liabilities divided by the total number of common shares outstanding as at a specific date. There is no comparable IFRS financial measure presented in the Company's consolidated financial statements and thus no applicable quantitative reconciliation for such non-IFRS financial measure.
