Work commenced this morning. The permanent access construction, valued at approximately $1.1 million for the earthworks component alone, represents the next phase of the community's recovery from the recent landslide that temporarily isolated Old Fort residents.

This project follows ACL's successful delivery of emergency temporary access works completed in coordination with the Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT) and Dawson Road Maintenance (DRM) earlier this year. The new permanent road will provide reliable long-term access to the community.
