VANCOUVER, BC , Aug. 27, 2026 /CNW/ -- Copper Giant Resources Corp. ( "Copper Giant" or the "Company" ) (TSXV: CGNT) (OTCQB: LBCMF) (FRA: 29H0) today reports assay results from in-fill holes MD-068 and MD-070 at its flagship Mocoa copper-molybdenum porphyry project in Putumayo, Colombia. MD-068, drilled beneath the vertical shallower holes completed by Ingeominas, returned a near-surface high-grade zone with 157 metres of 0.69% CuEq* (0.44% Cu and 0.048% Mo) from 145 metres and deeper zone below the past holes with 154 metres of 0.54% CuEq* (0.32% Cu and 0.041% Mo) from 526 metres. MD-070, an in-fill daughter hole, intersected 771 metres of continuous mineralization grading 0.54% CuEq* (0.33% Cu and 0.039% Mo), including a higher-grade core of 102 metres of 0.87% CuEq* (0.54% Cu and 0.063% Mo). The pattern of the 2026 program keeps expanding mineralization and reproducing the grade model that will underpin the anticipated upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment ("PEA").
