GFG Resources CEO discusses Barrick partnership and gold strategy in Timmins

Malibu, CA, United States (ABN Newswire) - The Ellis Martin Report and Money Talk Radio present an in-depth conversation with Brian Skanderbeg, President and CEO of GFG Resources Inc. GFG Resources (CVE:GFG) (OTCMKTS:GFGSF) (FRA:2GQ), focused on the company's extensive gold exploration portfolio in the Timmins region of Ontario and its recently announced strategic partnership with Barrick. GFG has assembled nearly 900 square kilometres of prospective ground in the Timmins belt, positioning the company as the second-largest landholderin one of the world's most prolific gold-producing regions. A central focus of the discussion is GFG's Pen Gold Project, where Barrick can earn an initial 60% interest through exploration expenditures, cash payments and the delivery of a technical report and mineral resource. Barrick can ultimately increase its interest to 80% by advancing the project through additional economic and feasibility work. Skanderbeg explains why Barrick's objectives extend well beyond defining a modest goldresource. Major producers are searching for large-scale systems capable of becoming meaningful assets within their global portfolios, and the Timmins region has demonstrated its ability to host deposits of that scale. At the same time, GFG retains 100% ownership of its Goldarm Property east of Timmins, where the company is advancing several targets. At Aljo, drilling has produced high-grade results including 23 g/t gold over 7 metres and 16 g/t gold over 11 metres, while the emerging Nahanni discovery represents a new greenfield target that had never previously been drill tested. The conversation also examines GFG's corporate relationships, including Alamos Gold's approximately 10.8% equity position, the company's shareholder structure and its approach to financing future exploration. Looking ahead, investors can expect activity on multiple fronts. Barrick is expected to advance exploration at Pen, while GFG continues drilling and target generation across its 100%-ownedGoldarm ground, including further work at Aljo, Nahanni and additional greenfield targets. Ellis and Brian also discuss the broader strategic question surrounding successful gold discoveries in Timmins: historically, significant discoveries in this infrastructure-rich district have frequently attracted larger producers.
