Golden Cariboo Intercepts 268.24m of 0.58 g/t Gold including 57.36m of 1.08 g/t Gold and 30.62m of 1.16 g/t Gold, Representing the Final Drill Assays for the Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate
September 2, 2026 – TheNewswire - Vancouver, BC, Canada – Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (the “Company”) (CSE:GCC) (OTC:GCCFF) (WKN:A402CQ) (FSE:3TZ) announces the receipt of photon assay results for diamond drill hole QGQ26-30, which targeted the western margin of the Company's Halo zone at its flagship Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, located approximately 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) northeast of Hixon, British Columbia.
Drill hole QGQ26-30 returned 268.24m (880.05 ft) of 0.58 g/t gold from 28.26m to a depth of 296.50m, including 1.08 g/t Au over 57.36m from 28.26m to 85.62m and including 1.16 g/t Au over 30.62m from 140.03m to 170.65m. Gold mineralization in QGQ26-30 is associated with broad zones of strong sericite-carbonate alteration developed within tuffaceous volcanic rocks and typically occurs within and adjacent to extensional quartz-carbonate veins. The mineralized system is characterized by pervasive, finely disseminated to <1 cm cubic pyrite accompanied by minor chalcopyrite and rare pyrrhotite, with localized zones of semi-massive to massive sulphides. Visible gold was identified in multiple intervals throughout QGQ26-30 as fine to coarse irregular flecks, generally less than 1 mm but locally reaching 3 mm in size, commonly occurring along vein margins and in close association with disseminated to cubic pyrite. These geological features are consistent with those observed elsewhere within the Halo zone which remains open in all directions.
