Discovery Named 2026 TSX30™ Top-Performing Company

TORONTO, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Discovery Mining Ltd. (TSX: DSV, OTCQX: DSVSF) (" Discovery " or the " Company ") is pleased to announce that it has been named to the 2026 TSX30™, an annual ranking of the 30 top-performing companies on Toronto Stock Exchange (“ TSX ”) based on dividend-adjusted share price performance over a three-year period ending June 30, 2026.

Discovery achieved share price appreciation of 934% over the last three years , ranking among the strongest-performing companies on the TSX over that period and generating approximately $6.6 billion in market capitalization growth as of June 30, 2026.

Established in 2019, the TSX30 showcases Canada's top-performing publicly listed companies and highlights the role of Canada's capital markets in supporting growth, innovation and long-term value creation. The 2026 TSX30 delivered its strongest performance since the program's inception, with companies on the list achieving an average dividend-adjusted share price appreciation of 785%, nearly double the 431% recorded by the 2025 TSX30. Collectively, the 2026 TSX30 companies represent $252.6 billion in total market capitalization and added more than $225 billion in market value over the past three years.

Tony Makuch, Discovery’s President, CEO and Chairman commented, "Being recognized as one of the TSX30 is a great honour and a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our employees, the support of our shareholders, and our commitment to creating long-term value. Our inclusion in this year's ranking follows a transformational period for Discovery as we advanced and expanded our operations with the transformational acquisitions of the Porcupine and Kidd Operations in Timmins, Ontario, strengthening our position as a leading Canadian precious metals company. While we are proud of our share price performance and the value we have created for investors, we remain focused on responsibly executing our growth strategy and delivering sustainable returns for all stakeholders."

Louis Anastasopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Stock Exchange, commented, "Just as nation-building is a priority for Canada, company-building must also be a national priority. The 2026 TSX30 demonstrates the potential of Canadian companies to grow, scale, and compete with the best in the world. Half of this year's top performers are graduates of TSX Venture Exchange, a powerful example of how Canada's capital markets can help build the next generation of Canadian champions and support them as they grow into global leaders."

ABOUT DISCOVERY

Discovery Mining Ltd. is a growing precious metals company that is creating value for stakeholders through exposure to gold, silver and other critical minerals. Discovery is advancing plans to more than double annual gold production through investment in the Company’s Porcupine assets, which include multiple operations, attractive growth projects and significant exploration upside in one of the world’s most renowned gold camps in and near Timmins, Ontario. The acquisition of the Kidd Operations in June 2026 further increased Discovery’s land position within the camp, provided valuable infrastructure that will support the Company’s growing gold business, and added critical minerals to the Company’s current production profile. Discovery’s silver exposure comes mainly from the 100%-owned Cordero project, one of the world’s largest undeveloped silver deposits, which is located close to infrastructure in a prolific mining belt in Chihuahua State, Mexico.
