Northisle selected for North Island Project in 2026 Canada Investment Summit Dealbook

Northisle Copper and Gold Inc. (TSX-V: NCX, OTCQX: NTCPF) (“Northisle” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the North Island Project has been selected for inclusion in the 2026 Canada Investment Summit Dealbook (the “Dealbook”). The Dealbook will be provided to leading global investors attending the inaugural Canada Investment Summit (the “Summit”), an initiative designed to showcase Canadian investment opportunities as part of the Government of Canada’s broader strategy to mobilize long-term capital into strategic Canadian industries and assets.

The Summit is a novel national investment forum hosted by Prime Minister Mark Carney, in partnership with CPP Investments and PSP Investments, that will bring together leading global investors, Canadian CEOs, and public-sector representatives. The Summit forms part of the Government of Canada’s broader objective of catalyzing C$1 trillion in total investment in Canada over the next five years, with critical minerals identified among the sectors expected to help drive new investment and strengthen Canada’s economic resilience.

Sam Lee, President & CEO, commented

“We are very pleased to have the North Island Project selected for inclusion in the Canada Investment Summit Dealbook. The Canada Investment Summit and the Dealbook provide exactly the type of visibility and exposure necessary to attract global institutional capital to support sustainable resource development in Canada. Canada, particularly through the Province of British Columbia, has the opportunity to become an increasingly important part of the global critical minerals supply chain. The Summit is a bold and concerted effort to realize this potential, and we are honoured to be part of Canada’s plan to achieve these ambitious goals.”

Sam Lee continued

“We believe the selection of the North Island Project reflects the project’s scale, quality, and developability. With exceptional access to infrastructure and a focus on meaningful partnerships with First Nations, Northisle is well positioned to continue developing the North Island Project responsibly and expediently. We appreciate the recognition from the Government of Canada and look forward to highlighting Northisle’s approach to creating enduring value through sustainable resource development to a global audience.”
