Edge Total Intelligence launches edgeTI real-time intelligence platform
In this edition of The Ellis Martin Report and Money Talk Radio, Jim introduces edgeCore, edgeTI's connected-intelligence platform designed to integrate existing applications, data sources and workflows without requiring organizations to replace their established technology infrastructure.
The platform creates a unified operational view-often described as a real-time digital twin or a "single pane of glass" through which decision-makers can see relevant information, understand developing situations and take action.
Jim explains how edgeCore can help organizations move beyond static dashboards by combining decision intelligence, automation and role-specific operational views. The objective is to deliver the right information tothe right person at the moment it becomes relevant.
The conversation examines edgeTI's deployment model, with implementations that may be completed in approximately 90 days depending upon the customer and project. Jim discusses how a vendor-neutral, API-driven approach allows edgeCore to connect diverse systems while preserving existing technology investments.
Ellis and Jim also explore the difference between consumer artificial intelligence and enterprise AI, where security, permissions, governance and organizational guardrails are essential. Jim describes how edgeTI approaches AI as a component of a controlled operational environment rather than as an unrestricted standalone tool.
The interview looks at applications across government, defense, maritime and aviation operations, where users frequently must interpret information from numerous disconnected systems under demanding conditions.
Jim also discusses the company's expansion into Australia following its transaction involving technology developed by Austal, as well as edgeTI's broader U.S. and international growth strategy.
The conversation concludes with Jim's perspective on the future of digital operations, AI orchestration and enterprise decision-making and why bringing people, data and applications together in context may be increasingly important as organizations adopt more technology.
