Traction Uranium advances Aurora project to drill testing

First drill test of Aurora's priority conductive targets planned for fall 2026

CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Traction Uranium Corp. (CSE: TRAC) (OTC: TRCTF) (FRA: Z1K) (the “ Company ” or “ Traction ”) is pleased to announce that it plans to proceed with a fall 2026 diamond drill program at the Aurora Uranium Project (“Aurora” or the “Project”), located in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin region. Aurora is owned and operated by Cosa Resources Corp. (“Cosa”). Traction holds an option to acquire up to an 80% interest in Aurora from Cosa, subject to satisfying certain earn-in requirements. Cosa will operate the planned program, which will be funded by Traction pursuant to the option agreement.

The proposed program is expected to test priority conductive targets identified through interpretation of Cosa’s 2024 VTEM survey. Target ranking has also been informed by the results of the 2026 property-wide airborne radiometric and magnetic survey and other available geological and geophysical information, with emphasis on conductive responses located near radiometric anomalies interpreted as potentially related to uranium-bearing sources.

“With the airborne survey complete, we are preparing to move Aurora into drill testing,” said Jared Suchan, Chief Executive Officer of Traction. "The VTEM conductors, ranked against the new radiometric and magnetic data, give us a clear set of priority targets for this program. We look forward to working with Cosa and will report results as they become available."
