Gold Orogen starts tungsten-antimony work at Riley Brook

Gold Orogen Starts Work on Tungsten-Antimony Target at Riley Brook Project, New Brunswick

(TheNewswire)

Vancouver, BC – TheNewswire - October 6th, 2026 – Gold Orogen Resources Corp. (CSE:OROG) (the “Company” or “Gold Orogen”), is  pleased to announce the start of work on high-priority tungsten (“W”) and antimony (“Sb”) exploration targets within the southwestern portion of its Riley Brook property in New Brunswick.

Gold Orogen has two strategic partners, Lode Gold and Goldera Exploration, each holding 19.9% of the Company. Goldera is the operator on the New Brunswick projects.

The targets were previously identified through the integration of soil geochemical, prospecting, geophysical and radiometric data. The priority area is characterized by **significant tungsten-gold-arsenic-antimony (W-Au-As-Sb) soil anomalies**, coincident electromagnetic (“EM”) anomalies and elevated radiometric signatures, providing multiple exploration vectors for follow-up work.

Sampling Program Underway

The Company is initiating a systematic sampling and prospecting program across the priority target area to determine the source and geological significance of the anomalous tungsten and antimony geochemistry.

 2026 Program Highlights:

• additional soil sampling across three grids, including extending the three-kilometre gold-tungsten-arsenic-antimony anomaly at area 1.

• prospecting and rock sampling.

•  trenching in both areas, subject to receipt of required permits.

Definition of prospective drill targets.

The combination of tungsten and antimony anomalies with gold and arsenic provides a compelling geochemical association for follow-up exploration. The coincident geophysical responses, including EM and elevated radiometric signatures, provide additional vectors for identifying potential mineralized structures and alteration zones.

Wendy T. Chan, President and CEO o Gold Orogen, stated, “The identification of significant tungsten and antimony anomalies in association with gold and arsenic in the southwestern portion of Riley Brook is an exciting development for the Company. We are moving quickly to follow up these anomalies with systematic sampling and prospecting. Our objective is to determine the source of the geochemical signatures and establish the highest-priority targets for more advanced exploration.”

Figure 1

Area 1 hosts a multi-element soil anomaly with elevated tungsten, gold, arsenic and antimony values in the southwestern portion of the Property. The anomaly extends over approximately three kilometres of strike length and remains open for extension.

Additional Exploration Potential at Riley Brook

The Riley Brook property also contains a second priority area displaying a range of mineralization and alteration signatures, including **gold, silver, zinc and lead**, together with elevated radiometric and coherent magnetic signatures. These characteristics have been interpreted as potentially indicative of a broader multi-element mineralized system, including possible Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (“RIRGS”) or copper-gold porphyry-style mineralization.

The Company believes the combination of multiple geochemical and geophysical anomalies across Riley Brook warrants continued systematic exploration aimed at defining the property's broader mineral potential.

ABOUT GOLD OROGEN

As the Resulting Issuer of the February 2026 reverse-take-over of Great Republic Mining (CSE:GRM) by Gold Orogen Exploration Corp (formerly named 1475039 B.C. Ltd. and a subsidiary of Lode Gold (TSXV:LOD), Gold Orogen is an early-stage exploration pure play with quality assets in the Yukon and New Brunswick, Canada. Optionality exists as assets are diversified on two mineral belts that are known to have prolific gold endowment.

New Brunswick Assets - During late 2024, a joint venture was formed between subsidiary company 1475039 and the Company’s 19.9% strategic investor to create one of the largest land packages in New Brunswick, consisting of an area spanning 445 km2 with a 44 km strike. The McIntyre Brook and Riley Brook properties sit on a highly prospective belt that has seen many exciting discoveries including Dalradian, New Found Gold and Calibre Mining. The Kinross-Puma joint venture project surrounds McIntyre Brook.

Yukon Assets - The Golden Culvert / WIN properties sit on the southern end of the Tombstone Belt which in recent years has seen extensive exploration success. It has Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems (RIRGS) targets and sedimentary hosted orogenic mineralization. Over 4,500 m has been drilled with 50 gram meter intercepts. *Cautionary note: This is not a true width calculation as the true attitude of the mineralized body is unknown at this time.
