Gold Hart Copper names Alejandro Vasquez to technical advisory board
Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - October 7, 2026) - Gold Hart Copper Corp. (TSXV: HART) ("Gold Hart" or "HART") is pleased to announce the appointment of leading mining engineer - Mr. Alejandro Vásquez Montero - to its Technical Advisory Board.
Recently, Mr. Vásquez served as VP Operations & GM of the Los Pelambres Mine for Antofagasta Minerals, a global top-10 copper miner with a market capitalization of approximately $50b.
Prior to Antofagasta Minerals, Mr. Vásquez headed operations as Vice President of Teck Resources for all of South America (market cap apprx. $30b), as well as for BHP (market cap apprx. $200b) at its Escondida Copper Mine, widely considered the largest copper mine in the world. Key parts of the Escondida Copper mine were originally staked by HART co-founder Dr. Jose Frutos in the early 1970s.
As Vice President of Mining at Compañía Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi, Mr. Vásquez oversaw operations at the Collahuasi Copper Mine, the second largest copper mine in Chile. Mr. Vásquez also spent 12 years in increasingly senior and operational roles at ExxonMobil Chile, after which he spent a decade with Anglo American overseeing key mines in Chile.
Gold Hart CEO Isaac B. Maresky commented, "Gold Hart has assembled a world-class team of geologists focused on exploration, but the time has come to add an engineer specialized in exploitation. Mr. Vásquez will be focused on two key priorities, namely strategic relationships with major miners and evaluation of exploitation opportunities. We are honoured to welcome Mr. Vásquez to the growing HART team."
Alejandro Vásquez added, "My professional experience has been primarily focused on large-scale open-pit mining in major copper porphyry deposits, holding key leadership positions at the Los Bronces, Collahuasi, Escondida, Yandi and Los Pelambres mines. I've also led both open-pit and underground operations at El Soldado Mine, as well as large-scale iron ore operations at the Yandi Mine in Australia (BHP). I am honoured to join the distinguished team of geoscientists at Gold Hart Copper at this key juncture, as the Company has built up an incredible portfolio of properties in some of the best mining locations in the country and I believe there are ample opportunities for potential strategic partnerships and hopefully even the possibility of advancement towards exploitation in some cases."

Mr. Vásquez joins a distinguished group of geoscientists leading Gold Hart's technical advisory board. Gold Hart co-founder Dr. Professor Jose Frutos staked key parts of Escondida in the 1970s, now the largest copper mine in the world with annual copper output exceeding $10b. Dr. Frutos also drilled Cerro Casale, now one of the largest gold deposits controlled by Barrick & Newmont in Chile. Enrique Viteri - who pioneered exploration in the Vicuna District and discovered Toro & Tolita - drilled some of the first holes at mega gold deposits Caspiche (Barrick & Newmont) and the Maricunga Gold Mine (Kinross). Mr. Viteri also served as Chief Mine Geologist at El Teniente, the oldest & largest underground copper mine in the country. Robert Cudney financed Gold Eagle and its Bruce Channel gold deposit discovery (acquired by GoldCorp for $1.5b) and FNX (acquired by Quadra then KGHM for $3b). Sean Roosen acquired the Canadian Malartic property out of bankruptcy, and developed it into one of Canada's largest gold mines. Mr. Roosen co-founded Osisko Mining (acquired by Agnico Eagle for $1.3b) and is now the CEO of Osisko Gold Group building the Cariboo Gold Mine.

About Gold Hart Copper
Gold Hart Copper is one of the largest independent land owners surrounding major miners where the famous Maricunga Gold Belt meets the emerging Vicuña Copper Belt in Chile. HART is actively acquiring, exploring and developing its portfolio of gold, copper & silver properties adjacent to the largest gold and copper assets on the continent2.
HART has rolled-up a portfolio of historically significant assets surrounding majors, in some cases personally staked by the very same geologists who made the adjacent mega-discoveries, since the early 1990s. Some of the Gold Hart properties have already undergone a first phase of drilling, with highly encouraging results of gold, copper, silver, and molybdenum. Gold Hart properties are controlled 100% and not subject to any royalties whatsoever.
HART believes it may be sitting on one of the only fully-preserved untested large-scale gold-copper-silver porphyry targets in the Vicuña District - an asset that was first recognized for its uniquely high grades of gold and copper on surface - and staked by one of the Maricunga-Vicuña district's pioneering geologists3 in 1993. Gold Hart Copper is fully funded for its planned drill campaign.
HART's team of geologists were personally involved in pioneering exploration in the region, leading to some of its greatest gold, copper, and silver deposits, and include the country's former Geological Survey National Deputy Manager Dr. Professor José Frutos. Specifically, senior Gold Hart geologists were personally involved in the Escondida copper discovery, now the largest copper mine in the world5 controlled by Rio Tinto and BHP, as well as Norte Abierto / Cerro Casale, the largest gold-copper discovery in Chile2 acquired by Barrick and Newmont (GoldCorp) with reserves and resources of 50.6-million ounces of gold (0.53g/t), 13.4-billion pounds of copper (0.20%) and 218-million ounces of silver (2.3g/t).
In addition to its large land position in the Vicuña District, Gold Hart recently acquired the Nessa properties just northwest on Chile's Paleocene-Eocene Belt on the famous Domeyko Fault System, which is home to some of Chile's largest gold, copper, and silver assets including Escondida, Chuquicamata and Collahuasi. The Nessa properties host several historic gold and copper artisanal mines with high grades of gold, copper, and silver on surface, with a large alteration and magnetic anomaly extending approximately 6km. Kinross' La Coipa Gold Mine sits just east of Nessa.
